Highland Hospice Events
Over the week Highland Hospice are encouraging people to discuss conversations around death and dying that they might otherwise brush aside, and urge companies to consider adopting the Bereavement Charter, which describes a vision for how we can all work together to ensure adults, young people and children who are experiencing bereavement are supported.
Their 'By the River Cafe' and 'In the City Cafe' will be encouraging these open conversations throughout the week, with 'chatterboxes' on the tables to help people intitiate conversations.
They will be running will run a special online session of the Last Aid course on Friday 6th May between 10am and 130pm. Please click here to book on this course.
Finally their 'A Time to Remember' service will be broadcast on Saturday 7th May at 11am. Lead by Chaplain Norma Higgott, this offers the opportunity to reflect on the lives of those no longer with us. The focus of this service will be 'A Bridge Over Troubled Waters', helping those who join to cope with their individual loss and appreciate those who have helped, or are helping them, along the way.
