Demystifying Death Week 2022

Can you really choose to die? A talk by Jane Duncan Rogers and Phyllis Shacter

Organised by the Findhorn Community. 30 April, 7pm-9pm. Online or at the Universal Hall Findhorn.

Live in the Universal Hall Findhorn, will be Jane Duncan Rogers, author of Before I Go: The Essential Guide to Creating A Good End of Life Plan. Jane is founder of social enterprise, Before I Go Solutions, a training organisation providing products and programmes to help others make good end-of-life plans. Their vision is to have end-of-life plans be as common as birth plans.

Streamed in live from Washington State in the US will be Phyllis Shacter, author of Choosing to Die: Elective Death by Voluntarily Stopping Eating and Drinking (VSED) in the Face of Degenerative Disease. She wrote this book after her husband got dementia and decided he no longer wanted to live with it.

They will both offer a short presentation and then be open to questions, comments, and sharings from the audience, both live and via Zoom. You can also submit questions beforehand.
