What is Compassionate Inverclyde?
Work to develop Compassionate Inverclyde has been ongoing since 2016, aiming to transform attitudes and everyday practices around loneliness, social isolation, death and bereavement across Inverclyde. The programme is about enabling and nurturing kindness, helpfulness and neighbourliness in Inverclyde. It is about creating the conditions where ordinary people help ordinary people.
Ardgowan Hospice provided initial funding to develop Compassionate Inverclyde, employing a Programme Lead to work full time on the project.
