Golden Charter Good Death Week Reception

Golden Charter are holding a special reception at the McDonald Holyrood Hotel to mark Good Death Week 2019. All Good Life, Good Death, Good Week members are invited to attend.

The aim is to bring together leading thinkers from policy networks, parliament and the third sector to reflect on the changing societal culture around death and dying, to share ideas, and to listen to each other.

At the event, after a welcome from Richard Lyle MSP, Convener of the Cross Party Group on Bereavement, there will be the opportunity to network over drinks and canapés. There will also be short talks from Good Life Good Death Good Grief’s Robert Peacock, on the purpose of Good Death Week, and from Golden Charter CEO Suzanne Grahame, on the role of funeral directors in promoting a good death. There will also be another chance to see excerpts from our short film, 20 Takes on Death and Dying.
