Let’s talk about… Pregnancy and Baby Loss
Let’s talk about… Pregnancy and Baby Loss
Organised by NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.
Tuesday 2nd May 2023, 12.30pm-1.30pm. Taking place online (MS Teams).
This event is open to the public.
What will we be talking about?
Everyday people are left with the grief and trauma that often accompanies the loss of a pregnancy or baby shortly after birth. Whilst everyone’s situations are unique, as a society we can do much more to support one another in these difficult times, and that often begin with having a conversation.
During this session we will discuss some of the common feelings that people may experience and highlight different places where support is available. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions to our panel of experts who have backgrounds in various parts of this bereavement journey.
We know this can be a sensitive topic to discuss and we want our panel and audience to feel safe to ask and answer any relevant questions. Questions can be submitted anonymously before or during the talk and people are welcome to keep their cameras off if they would prefer.
This session is delivered in partnership with Sands and Antenatal Results and Choices (ARC).
