Flower Power – remembering those we miss

In partnership with NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Battlefield Community Project, Finns Place.

Saturday 13th May 2023, 10.00am-12.00pm.

Taking place at Battlefield Community Garden, corner of Arundel Drive and Ledard Road, Battlefield, Glasgow, G42 9RE

This event is open to the public.

What will we be doing?

Come along to our FREE seed-bomb workshop in the Southside of Glasgow!

Nature gives us a great opportunity to reflect and remember, especially when we can see seasons change and plants die, only to spring up again as the days grow longer and the sun comes out.

Using forget-me-not seeds, we want to make lots of little seed-bombs which people can use in places where they would like to remember their loved ones. This might be a favourite view point, or on a much-loved walk – the possibilities are endless.

Our workshop also gives everyone a chance to come together and share stories and memories of the people we miss, so bring along your mum, dad, gran, grandpa, aunts and uncles – everyone is welcome!

We will be outside so make sure to wear appropriate clothes for whatever the weather may have in store for us!

This event is run in partnership with Battlefield Community Project.

Who is this event for?

Everyone is welcome.

When and where is it happening?

10.00am – 12.00pm, Battlefield Community Garden, corner of Arundel Drive and Ledard Road, Battlefield, Glasgow, G42 9RE
