This event is open to the public.

The Yoker Resource centre runs a community-based support service aimed at changing and improving the quality of life for the elderly in our community. On the 17th of May we will be joining groups all over Glasgow in demystifying death and remembering who has gone before.

We will have a high tea for everyone who would like to attend and information stalls aimed at helping you make plans. for example, local religious leaders will be in attendance to answer any questions you have about death or funerals.
We will have info on starting a will and power of attorney. Maybe you will have a question about care planning so your loved ones understand what your wishes are.

Many activities will be held throughout the day, including dedicating a book to someone who has already passed. Feel free to bring books to donate and dedicate or just dedicate a book with the dedication cards provided,

There will be an online component as a Facebook event between the 1st of May and the 17th of May - please contact us for more information.
