This event is open to the public.
Join us at Pollok Library from 11am – 2pm on Friday 5th May for Demystifying Death Week.
Glasgow Libraries are holding this free special event to give you the knowledge, skills and opportunities to plan and support each other through death, dying, loss and care.
We will be hearing from memoir-writer, novelist, poet and short-story writer Catherine Simpson. Catherine will be talking about her novels When I Had a Little Sister and One Body and experiences of suicide, death and bereavement.
Glasgow Libraries, Prince and Princess Wales Hospice, Life Link, Richmond’s Hope, Citizens Advice and The Alliance will be providing on the spot support and information around death.
You can also receive support and find out more with Macmillan @ Glasgow Libraries at their drop in chatty café.
No booking required, please just come along on the day.
Contact Librarieshealthandwellbeing@glasgowlife.org.uk if you have any questions or require any further information.
