Grave Talk
Grave Talk
7pm, Saturday 15th May.
Organised by Santou at Grief Support Services.
A relaxed 2-hour evening from 7-9 pm, led by a trained facilitator and spiritual care provider, to have an open discussion in a 'conversation cafe' style about what matters most to you in life and in death.
This is a free online event to promote Demystifying Death Week and get people, from any faith or none, thinking and talking about the inevitable.
Additional info:
To allow for sufficient time for this online discussion, the group size will be limited to 10 to create a safe space to talk as much or as little as you want.
* Please note this event is not a grief support group for those who are newly bereaved; but rather, a space for people to contemplate their value, worth and wishes about the inevitable dying process, in a space that honours what they have to say.
This virtual event provides a menu of 8 prompt questions that you can choose from to get the conversation started or to move the discussion to a different topic. Some examples are: What is your favourite possession and who are you leaving it to? What is your most memorable death in a film or book? How would you like to be remembered?
From experience, we will definitely not get through all the questions, so choose wisely - or come again to another cafe event.
