Good Death Week Events

Events are taking place across Scotland for Good Death Week, 13 - 19 May. These are the ones we know about. If you know of others or you're organising something yourself, let us know and we can promote it.

Good Death Week is all about creating opportunities for people to think, talk and plan ahead for death, dying and bereavement.

Afore Ye Go Cafe

Thu 16 May 2019, 2pm - 4pm
Forres Town Hall, IV36 1PB
FREE

Making plans when you are healthy means there is less to think about if you get sick. It also helps those close to you know they are carrying out your wishes.

The Afore Ye Go Cafe, hosted by Forres Area Community Trust and the Whyte Family Trust, aims to help you prepare for when you are no longer with us by generating conversation and providing advice.

There will be interactive games and conversation menus to open up conversation and increase understanding of decisions that have to be made including: making a will, choosing power of attorney, making advance directives and planning a funeral.

A solicitor will also be available to talk about power of attorney.

Refreshments will be provided.

For more information please contact Kirsty on 01309 674 388 or kirsty@forresarea.org
