Slow Down When Someone Dies by Kate Clark and Lin Carruthers - coming May 2023
For Demystifying Death Week this year Pushing Up The Daisies is arranging a “demystifying death tour” around Scotland. Charity trustees Lin Carruthers and Kate Clark will be available to talk about their new book – Slow Down When Someone Dies and sell signed copies.
The book is a call to everyone, and particularly carers, to take time during the days after someone’s last breath to tend to their own longer term wellbeing. It contains inspiration to help people consider what’s right for them and all the practical information for them to be able to do what’s right for them when a significant person steps out of their life in a physical way.
Kate and Lin will also host discussions around the options people have when someone dies – the legalities and the practicalities. All questions welcome.
