Highland Hello Virtual Tea Break

For Demystifying Death Week the Highland Senior Citizens Network’s weekly Highland Hello Virtual Tea Break will be focusing on remembering and celebrating those who have died. 11am till 12, Thursday 13th May.

The Art of Caring for Self and Others
Thursday 13th May 7pm-8:40pm
Organised by Creativity in Care.
This online event will explore how people can look after themselves when they are spending a lot of time caring for someone else. It is particularly focused on people with unpaid caring roles.
The Music and Poetry of Death and Dying
Organised by Kilbryde Hospice, 7pm, Thursday 13 May.
Join Kilbryde Hospice's music therapist, Anna Ludwig online at 7pm as she leads us through a selection of music and poetry on the subject of death and dying.
You can expect an eclectic mix of styles and genres from nursery rhymes to requiems, blues to brass bands, pop and rock and everything in between.
Music and chat will be interspersed by short poetry readings.

Caring for Carers - A Marie Curie Local Check-in and Chat
Organised by Marie Curie. Thursday 13 May 1pm - 2pm.
Join Marie Curie's Check-in and Chat Session for an informal chat, exploring thoughts and experiences around caring for carers.
This online event is the first of two Check-in and Chat sessions exploring experiences and thoughts on being a carer. Join us for an informal gathering over a cuppa to share thoughts and ideas around how being a carer affects you and what's been good for managing your wellbeing.
This event is for any paid or unpaid carers, or for anyone who works with paid or unpaid carers.
The second event will take place during Carers Week in June.
