A workshop exploring the future of public health palliative care and compassionate communities approaches in Scotland.
Background
The Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care is currently gathering evidence, experience and ideas to help shape the future strategic direction of palliative and end of life care, serious illness, dying and bereavement in Scotland. (More information about this work is available here: SPPC strategy development work.
As part of this, we are keen to consider public health palliative care and compassionate communities approaches.
Purpose of the workshop
We are inviting all in Scotland with an interest in the area of public health palliative care and compassionate communities to participate in an open interactive workshop via zoom.
Discussions at the workshop will be noted down and used to inform the drafting of a position paper, which we hope will identify key priorities, actions and responsibilities for improving people’s experiences of palliative and end of life care, death, dying and loss over the next 10 years.
